Elder Orators

A fun time to practice the skills needed to feel confident about speaking to others.  We will practice some the exercises used to prepare us for speaking.  Look at the production of sound and how to control it and project it to fill a room.  We may, if time permits, try some different dialects,  talk about and try different modulations in speech, and do some talking and reading out loud to feel the effects of our new skills.

Presenter: Chris Moss. Chris trained as an English and Drama teacher.  But his real love was theatre, and he has been involved in local theatre productions as an actor and Director for thirty years.  Note sessions are two weeks apart.

Location: Zoom. Thursday, March 18, 2021 and April 1st, 2021, 1 to 2:30pm, Free/ 2 sessions
