Sign up for Alerts

You can now sign up for the Capital Regional District’s Public Alert Notification System to receive alerts concerning emergencies, disasters, imminent threats (e.g. tsunamis or wild fire) and local incidents (e.g. gas leak or boil water advisories). Signing up is easy to do from your mobile phone, tablet, or computer by downloading the free Alertable app and selecting your community and alert preferences. You can sign up for alerts for multiple communities. For example, you could add Port Renfrew, Jordan River, Shirley, Otter Point, and Sooke as your locations to track.
